• Cold Turkey In Winter Time

I?m sure I?m not alone (I?ve seen a couple of other posts about a similar topic) but thought I?d get a thread going to explore how you all fend off going cold turkey when the cold bites.

For me, a man cave isn?t an option at the moment and making myself presentable to go to a pub with an outdoor smoking area kills the vibe a little. Therefore I?m thinking of an alternative plan which provides shelter, warmth and plenty of gratification...no, not a good woman!

I?m a big motorsport fan and have on order a heavy duty gazebo for trips away but ?why just use it then?? I ask myself. I?m thinking of getting it setup in the garden and acquiring a commercial outdoor heater. The one I have my eye on is apparently like sitting under your own personal sun so I may even be able to get myself some hard earned sun burn.

This combo should work a treat but I?m curious what everyone else does to stop themselves going cold turkey?

Cue the man cave and smoking at work bragging rights!

The only thing that stops me smoking is high winds and/or rain.
I smoke outdoors all year round. I just wrap up warm in colder months. Some of the boys on here
have heaters, chimineas etc though.

I?ve got a Rock Awning?s Rhino Hex 55 3mx4.5m in the post. Once I?ve got it all and set it all up, I?ll be sure to post a few pics. Could be a couple of weeks though.

Not like us southern softies then lol

For me...at this time of year i can only have them at work, there is a nice pub with a nice outdoors smoking area. Otherwise don't really smoke any at home, nighttime its too cold for me to enjoy a cigar in the garden and generally weekend i'm out the house, but if its warm enough and i'm at home i'll sit on the patio.

I'm fortunate enough to have a garage I can smoke in but even that needs a bit of heating up and can occasionally be too chilly for anything bigger than a RASCC.

I think it's groundhog who has a small tent/shelter that he smokes in in winter? Looked pretty neat as I remember.

I smoke indoors since I have no manners at all. What else could you expect from a Saxon....

Also how do you heat a 3 sided gazebo without going up in a puff of smoke

I've got 3 sided cover not a gazebo. Can't heat an open space without proper fire.

Resort to the lounges during this weather.

Next year, I'm going to Cuba for a month. Enough is enough.
