  • Xikar sold

XIKAR has been purchased by Quality Importers Trading Co. One of the biggest names in cigar accessories will join Quality Importers, a Weston, Fla.

Saw this on another forum. Interesting. Wonder about the warranty as I almost had to test mine out.

In the end after lots of clicking. My lighter seems to no longer be stuck. So I've not actually tried to return it.

Do you buy Xikar because of the lifetime warranty. I do. But I don't exclusively buy Xikar.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...

Yes, I read that a couple of weeks ago. Don't remember who bought it. Let's hope that quality will not drop to much. Not that I need a new cutter at the moment.

I have the XO 403BL and sometimes the cut doesn't completely go through. But not always. So I never sent it in. Figured to wait until it doesn't cut correctly on every cut.

I don't know the other brands. But a bigger company now I guess.

Oh yeah. This means that they probably will now have the cutters made in China as they did with the Palio ones. I have seen threads on other forums where people were looking to purchase Palio cutters that were made in the USA since the ones in China suck.

        RIP Xicar

Basically stock up on them now?

They honoured their Lifetime guarantee for me last month when my XO arms ceased up!
Only the impossible is worth the effort.
