The 118 adverts. They are irritating. I avoid calling it. It feels like the longest running adverts ever. It also spoils the movies. Not going to carry on watching Pale Rider now.

Two things:
1: Watch movies on DVD/ Blu Ray or on streaming services.
2: The adverts were a divine punishment because you should have watched Unforgiven which is 10 times better than Pale Rider.

I was just zoning out in front of the TV after the gym before going to bed. Was zonked. So just wanted something not annoying to zone out to. Switched onto the scene with the drunk guy waving the big chunk of gold at the bag guys. At the end of that... The bloody add came on! I got vexed and went back to hunting cigar stuff online until I had enough and went to bed.
But yes if I'm purposefully watching a movie or show. I tend to avoid commercial TV too [emoji106].--

I agree,
Watching a film on a TV with adverts completely ruins a film - the atmosphere the film has so exquisitely and artistically created is just... ruined.
I think I dislike the 118 gents because I associate them with a film being spoilt... I'd grow to hate anyone that interrupted films every 20 minutes!
I go to the cinema, watch on DVD or stream almost every film I watch simply because it's better.~~~ Chris ~~~Comment
