What Pandyboy said! Too busy with family yesterday to post & frankly that is a nice change to my usual Christmas. Hoping to smoke something special this afternoon, as it's been dry outside so far today.
PS thanks to Deano & all new members for keeping this club going this year. Although you might expect it wouldn't survive the competiton from so many FB pages; perhaps it does because we do tend to have more in depth dicussion on here, which must help the newer members & keep the rest of us on our toes , trying to answer some of the more original questions.

It's also good not to have an outlet on FB or Instagram. Sick of the most ridiculous advertising on those platforms.

I see this place like an oasis of a cigar lounge in the madness and noise of the rest of the cigar mall.

What i really find special about this place IS the fact its separate from social media platforms and all the tripe that comes with them. It is a unique place, specifically developed around the love and life of cigars, and the community it fosters is one of shared experience, learning, and friendship.

It's an escape route from a busy, contradictory world.

I've recently joined a Facebook group (under an alias I might add) and I am shocked that it seems more of a d*ck waving contest than any form of discussion/conversation. Endless posts of who is smoking the most expensive cigar/wearing the most expensive watch/driving the fastest car etc etc.

That's the problem with Facebook. Everyone is trying to outdo each other. There are a few good groups though.
