All I want for Christmas is a smart kettle (temperature regulating).
Sadly though, I know I'm not going to get it - so I have my fingers firmly crossed for Amazon vouchers!

How does that work? It has to boil water to 100 deg C and then stop. My 'thick' kettle does that!

I believe certain coffees and teas stew better at lower temperatures, so it allows you to regulate to offer optimum flavour.

I also think they'll be operated by an app on your mobile...

I have a Kitchenaid one, you can adjust temperature it heats the water to on a sliding scale from 50-100c.

I have the Sage one that allows you to hat the water to five preset temperatures and can keep it at that temperature for five minutes. Tea always tastes the same to me but it keeps MLW happy

Yep - then let the water cool down a bit if you want. I must be too much of a luddite!
