I read mostly books on film lately, just finished a French book on Hong Kong crime movies and will start a new book tomorrow:

I have the second, third and fourth books to go at next as soon as I make a bit of time.

Having finished Gone Girl (it was just OK in the end) I've started The Last Days of Jack Sparks. Was well received on Radio 2 about 18 months ago. Enjoying the fiction at the moment. Makes a nice change from books about the vocal apparatus!

On a side note, I can't get along with reading digitally (excepting forums). You can't beat the feel and smell of an actual book!

Agreed, can’t get on with ‘ebooks’. Just about finished Recovery by Russell Brand. If you can stand to cut away all self indulgence nonsense the bloke has some interesting, thought provoking opinions.

Sadly I don't get anywhere near as much time to read as I'd like to. I am currently working my way through volume 1 The Second World War by Winston Churchill... anyone who knows it will know its a big read... just another 5 volumes to go after this one!

I prefer a real book to an e book and I've never been one for fiction at all.
