1st i'd seen of this,,quite disturbing really.

This issue has been going on for awhile. Initial complaints were made some weeks ago but the staff are still complaining of problems. I have a friend who was the No2 attach? as the US Embassy there & asked for a general picture but he wouldn't comment at all.
I don't think the current Cuban administration won't to break the ties that have been growing & re-opening the Embassy was obviously a big move. So it's either part of the old regime supporters who never want to deal with the US or elements of the US administration wanting to pull out.

What ever happened, and it looks like it did, according to mi americano amigos, the current (cough-cough) US administration is considering using it as an excuse to close its embassy in Cuba...if we're lucky.

Just saw a headline that Trump administration has expelled 15 Cuban diplomats.
