Mayweather but I don't think it'll be an early knockout; MacGregor can take kicks to the head and Mayweather has never been a big puncher.

It's going to be a late one tonight
        I have McGregor to win

...Decent line-up on the undercard too

Agree... which makes me worry it will all be desperately over hyped. But if MacG has trained to fight solidly for 12 rounds- which who knows he may have to- it could get interesting. If he really pushes at Mayw and makes him engage it could turn attritional and brutal. But i have to think that mayw has the chops to make him work and work and work and work, and pick his moment to carefully end it. I've rarely been hugely entertained by mayw, but you have to admire his philosphy that smart fighters dont get hit much ... Interestingly his defensive game against hatton and de la hoya was some of the more skillful boxing i've watched....

But i'd swap it all to see tyson in his ascendency when he was lean mean and athletic. Bob weave slip slide and crunch... it was done.

I remember those Tyson fights. We used to stay up late to watch em and everything was over in less than 2 minutes.

His early fights were spectacular, he just worked so hard so close and inside.... Just slipping the punches, and working further in, before unleashing a crunching hook / hammer! He got more and more aggressive and displayed less and less skill as he aged, but was just as effective! No less good, just different. I definitely prefer early tyson.

i think mayw has seen off brawlers and punchers. I mentioned oscar above. I saw some of the footage in the lead up to tonights fight. He was well past his prime but he threw a lot of punches, and a younger version of him would have in all likelihood beaten mayw.... But he didn't and de la hoya was a class act. I doubt mcg can bring enough. evn so, i'd like him to win for the shock factor of it all

big shout from sludgie there, I really can't see an early knockout for may weather more grind him down with expert skill maybe 10 or the distance. I have a feeling its either going to be really exciting or really underwhelming

My money (figuratively only for this ridiculous spectacle) is on the latter.

Im going to throw it out there, that fight stunk of a fix. It was like a testimonial in football. Am I crazy or do other people think this swell

Well, I got that totally wrong! Your prediction was far more accurate!

McGregor gave an excellent account of himself, but it was always going to be a farce, it was someone in their first professional fight against possibly the best ever pound for pound. The only reason it went 10 rounds is because of Mayweather's approach to fights, had it been MacGregor against Pacquiao or someone similar I suspect it would have been over a lot quicker

I don't think it was a fix, it was as I expected (possible a couple more rounds)

A testimonial might be a fairer assessment from Mayweather's point of view, it was never going to be his most difficult fight and he has said the pay day was his attraction, but I think McGregor really gave his all, he was just outclassed

I just think may weather carried him for more rounds. mcgregors technique was really bad and floyd should of punished him but held back I feel. but definitely if it was Connor vs cannel maybe 3 rounds
