Eitherway, it's become a Coro Fav and I will be on the lookout for another box or two of the robustos.

    Not for everyone, I guess.

Try the Robusto next time, if you get the chance.

I don't know if you are aware, but you can link to a specific post, rather than the the first post of the thread, which was quite startling, actually. I nearly dropped my iPad

Lol, Specialized_j no worries it all contributes to a discussion.

Tomorrow signifies the two weeks of seasoning coming to an end. So a bit of a daft question. The humidity is at 84%, I will be using 2 69% Boveda packets as its a 50CT humi. I will be filling it with a approximately 30 - 35 initially I don't want to stick the cigars in the humi at 84% as they will probably soak up the residual humidity and will not be a pleasant smoke.

So would I take out the 84% packs thrown in the 2 69% packs and wait for it to settle before adding sticks,

                TIA

Mine took around a week to settle to the correct humidity after seasoning.

Might find you only need one 69, I put two in my 40CT and RH crept up to 71%, with one it sits at 65-68%

So the looking good is not looking so good. After the 2 weeks seasoning, I stuck in a Boveda 69% pack in a 50Ct humi. I had around 35 sticks in it and the reading was sitting at 71 - 73% to high for my liking.

I decided to calibrate the ?6.99 amazon special hyrgometer using the salt test and now getting a reading of 83%. 8% over the 75%. Bering when I got it I did the calibration and it was on point. With the seasoning packs in it was on point, for some reason I think I have brokeded it. I am thinking my wee cheapo is needs replacing with something better.

I would appreciate your suggestions without breaking the bank.

Pop a Boveda in a ziplock bag to calibrate the hygrometer, no need to carry out inaccurate salt tests.
