For many reasons 2016 has been a stinker all round. World events continue to set new lows for human kind and aside from the many losses of friends and the famous there have been many tragic needless losses too.

But I think I am safe in saying that this forum offers a quiet oasis of kind spirited community. And with each fine stick, bowl of tobacco, or nugget of knowledge traded, shared and enjoyed, while we aren't changing the world, we are putting some scores in the positive karma column! There is much the world could learn from we BOTL/ BOTB's!

So, may I simply wish you all a Merry Christmas and health, happiness & prosperity for 2017!

Raise a glass and a stick to absent friends, and enjoy your festive smokes!
