  • Rome and Cigars

    Gentlemen,

A prior notice - I will be absent from these very forums for most of next week, as I am in Italy. I will probably be in on Sunday, but then will be away.

A final question before I away: I know there are tonnes of smoke shops in Rome - but are there any little gems I really should check out?

It's gotta be a Partagas for this expedition, methinks!

    Very best, deltawhisky

I've been and got bored sick trailing around the Vatican with a lunatic Guide! But great coffee in the cafes! I never had the time to look for smoke shops - thanks to the nut showing us everything and anything. But good luck!

In Rome, the emporer sat in a special part of the Coliseum called the Ceasarian Section.
Just a pointless little factoid, but a factoid none the less !
                  Enjoy Italy mate.

That nice Nic Wing was out in Rome a few weeks ago eating ice creams and - I think - checking out cigar shops.

Unfortunately for you he is on the French cheeses on holiday so won't be able to help you out, Delt...

                    Have a great break.

That's true, senor Rapper, but senor wingnut may be checking the forum. So maybe he will have some suggestions.

I visited Rome several years ago before taking a cruise of the Mediterrian. Saw a few puros in varios shops, but nothing worth buying.

Heed TJ's Rule number 1069, "Always travel with your own fine habana puros and seek out shops at your leisure." Otherwise, you may be left wanting.

Hello, my name is BJ, BJCoro, and I always follow TJ's rules!

Have a good trip, mate! The Coros.
