I just read on Facebook that Nic has passed on after battling cancer for the last 5 months. I met him at Sauters last year and we had some tea together. A fantastic person and a true pleasure to be around with. Still a bit shocked right now. A true loss to the cigar community.

Poor chap. He was a selfless giving sort - his cigar scene newsletter was a joy to read, and he was a great supporter of any one with a passion for Cigars.
Besides a few emails exchanged, he didn't know me from adam, and yet steered me on a few things and made some kind introductions. He will invariably be missed by his friends and family....

My heart felt condolences go out to them all.

I suppose it will only ever increase the older im lucky enough to get...
