For a random approach like this we can always " cry custard". Seen it on other forums where if genuine you can put a packet of custard next to the item to show its yours / genuine.

That's an interesting one D. I think we have a genuine person here, but the question will be whether the cigars are. They are usually fakes, bought cheaply in Cuba on holiday or gifted and the 'seller' wants to move them on.

Wow. what a lovely welcome. I had no idea such a simple question would raise so many cigar smelling eye brows. Let me start again.
My friend was leaving the country, she is a keen cigar smoker and said she would leave me a present. That's about it. I imagined it may have been one cigar...which I thought would be fun to try. However I didn't imagine it would be a box full. I just thought it would be better to sell them to someone who loves them which is why I posted here. I can post pictures. Apologies if I have ruffled any feathers.
