Cameron just quit, nothing else he could do, certainly shouldn't have lead the leaving negotiations after failed so miserably to get any meaningful changes before the referendum.

Indeed. Here's an interesting thought looking ahead. It takes two yrs to pull out completely & then we take charge of our borders. Firstly: what will they do with all the EU citizens who are already living here & in work? Assuming common sense rules, they will all be allowed to stay. How will they slow the migration down in the period until the deadline, when there could be a wave coming in before the door closes? Tricky one that.
On a personal level my daughter lives in the the UK, stayed here after doing her Masters in Bournemouth. Has been in work ever since & has applied for citizenship but has another 3yrs to qualify, even with a British father.

Not at all, he does a great job of playing the clumsy likeable fool, but if you listen to the speech he has just made you will find he is a highly intelligent and clever man. He'll probably make an outstanding PM.

I noticed that Gibraltar voted 96% in favour of remaining in Europe. It strikes me that this would be the perfect time to comply with their wishes and please the Spanish too.

I actually like him, he come across has a fool but like you said he's very cleaver, and as a London mayor i thought he did a good job
