• Non-Lego Lego

Has anybody bought any of the copy cat Lego flying around?
I was looking at just the figures, which are around a tenner each (WTF????) for proper lego.
I just bought 16 marvel/DC figures for 10.80 delivered on ebay.
I figured it was worth a punt.
Anybody have any experience of them?

Not of any figures, so a link there would be helpful GH

I've used a few scenario sets (galactic ships, police vehicles and buildings) and whilst they make what they say on the box, the construction (rigidity, method behind some structures isn't the best) I can't remember the brand, but the instructions were teeny and not very good either.

I'd imagine they are pretty compatible with Lego though

Non-Lego Lego

Can't say I have but I'd like to see them if you can link to the trader. - oops, x-posted with CJ and the 'hog.

Lego is so ridiculously expensive for the big movie tie-in stuff that I can't justify the spend. I'd love a Jawa Sandcrawler but at ?300+, well, it's just Lego at the end of the day!

Will do - the real test will be when my son gets his hands on them - will they pass the fiver year old uber-critic?
The only downside is long shipping time - 7th to 20th April is the estimated arrival date.

I'm looking at the batman tumbler for him too - ?20 instead of ?170!!!

Horsebox I agree, overpriced for what it is imo.. Although me and my son do enjoy Lego Dimensions on the PS4 aswell as all of the other "toy to life" games - which end up costing me a fortune

The only lego set I own is Durham Cathedral

I bought my eldest son the Ghostbusters car for Christmas and he later posted a picture of it on Facebook with the words 'If anyone knows a better way to spend two hours I don't want to know'
