  • Job change (again....!!)

Well chaps. I'm heading back to the Royal Navy full time a week today. Which cigar should mark the occasion? Needs to be something special...

        Many congratulations..!

What are considering so far.. anything on the short-list..?

For myself.. I always like to have a nice Party within reach, something with a bit of age.. a 'Serie du connaisseur' perhaps?
Or how about one of those lovely Monte Sublimes..? A modern day classic.
        Whatever you choose though..
        Enjoy and CHEERS..!

As for my specials, do have some Monte Sublimes left...I have a few Boli gold medals, some 1997 Punch DCs, Fuente Anejo Sharks, Monte EL520s, Romeo Dukes...They're some of the 'specials' I keep back...

What about a UK Regional? The Punch Medalla De Oro would suit you in terms of size and it's dressed up pretty well for the occasion Sludgers.

Lusitanias has the nautical name link.

But out of interest what year did you originally join the navy Rupert? Perhaps something from that year if available.

Pretty much! [emoji4] In fairness, Arabic interpreters are a bit thin on the ground...

I should think being able to speak the enemy's language is a major benefit Rupert arab.png

Not sure on specific date but in the right era. Very expensive. But when I saw similar in the flesh (Chester) I really wanted to splash out for one.
