He pretty much had to give up smoking the day he decided to run for president. I doubt anybody smoking cigarettes can be elected these days anymore. (because all children look at the president and want to be just like him... )

After 7 years of nicotine patches and withdrawl he must have finally caved in. Or did the secret stash of diplomatic cubans run out? Either way, the real reason for the US to open up relations to Cuba again is to get Obamas hands on some fine Cohibas...! Am I right or am I right?

He will no doubt try and have the embargo lifted one way or another before he leaves office. No way congress will pass it so I imagine he'll use executive orders to water it down. Interesting times ahead.

Possibly one of the main reasons America is thawing relations with Cuba is, Russia's relations with Cuba in recent years has increased naval ships and military aircraft make regular visits to Cuba, and being only 90 miles from mainland America they can't have that can they, or maybe I'm being a cynic and it probably is just to help the country and its people have a better life... and get hold of some cigars... ...
