We just use one of those nutri ninja things, makes more like a smoothie than a juice but very good.

      Hi Pete
Have you used a juicer before? My mrs did a juice diet and decided it would very easier eating tenners, the amount of produce needed for a small amount of juice is large. Maybe a blender is the way to go as this keeps the quantity up by retaining fibre. This also helps the GI meaning it's much calmer on blood sugar levels.

Remember that fruit juice contains more calories than whole fruit and is way worse for your teeth

Go the nutribullit route far easier. The thing with juicers, as Tucky said is that it takes a lot of fruit for a small amount. Which defeats the object of being healthy, as the amount of sugar would be ridiculous.
Or example you wouldn't sit and eat a bag of apples, but would quite easily drink it.

Yea I would agree nutribulit is the one for me...we use it daily in my house.l for the past 18 months..normally for breakfast...a healthy smoothy. And its very easy to clean which is ideal for the first thing in the morning.... I ended up getting it dirt cheap with the use of quidco.

From what I remember.. It was on offer too ?75 plus there was a quidco offer of 25% cashback

Not really to lose Weight (but a few pounds would not hurt) really for lunch time as never have time for anything healthy at work, was thinking more of juicing veg with the odd fruit smoothie what does the nutribulit do differently to a juicer or is it a make

Pretty much does the same thing, but less hassle. You can stick fruit and veg, along with ice and top up with water.

As above, I use it for breakfast. Ice, apple, pear, banana half an avocado, porridge oats handful of unsalted cashews and top it up with water. Perfect breakfast, and the best thing is it takes far less time to clean than a juicer.

Mines quite similar...never tried it with avocado... Will give that a go.

Mine is a large hand full of spinach, a few frozen Strawberry's, blueberry, raspberry and one ripe banana...with a few spoons of yogurt and half a tea spoon of peanut butter a sprinkle of some home grinded green tea and cinnamon. And top the cup with water...and that's enough for two drinks

To wash it up....we've started to keep our orange or lemon peal.
So rinse the blades and cup add hot water and a squirt of washing up liquid and add a bit off the orange /lemon peal...comes out nice and clean with a citrus smell

Adding the avocado makes it quite a creamy smoothie. You don't need more than half in my opinion.

Isnt the nutribullet just an upside down blender? I also agree that juice with no fibre isnt the mirracle food it is often portrayed to be.

On that basis If i had a decent amount of cash to invest in a good device I would buy a good quality blender... Such as a Blend Tec or similar.
