    Hello gents.

My girlfriend wishes to give up smoking and I'm just looking for advice on which vape thing to get.

So any advice will be great.

Next it will be, 'Please don't smoke cigars near me because its not fair when I'm trying to give up'
'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

I'm an avid vaper but choosing to stop soon so I can spend more on cigars. In all honesty I can't really recommend anything as there are so many options. I'd say start with a simple ego 510 type ecig, then see where it goes from there.

Be aware that theres a good chance she will start taking in a LOT more nicotine than she is now.

Eleaf Istick with a nautilus mini tank would be the best starting point IMO.

I started with this then moved onto a direct lung kit

If your girlfriend really want's to try make sure you check everything first, a lot of sites that sell licquid make it home. And i have had equipment with machine oil left in and iron filings.

The home brew boys will be weeded out soon as I understand there are regulations being, or have been introduced. Stick with a known proprietary brand and you should be ok. As for machining oil, yes, some bits of kit can have residuals and swarf/filings, unlucky there perhaps

Most don't want any regulations but i think it's a good idea.

I remember the last time someone wanted to bring vaping to the forum, they continuously pushed TippeXXX to try their E-Cigar and put up a review. The reality is that one would not vape for the same reasons that one would smoke a cigar.
Perhaps get her to join a vape forum?

Also, please tell me YOU'RE not giving up cigar smoking for vaping!!

Hell no I'm not. I can't stand it but I want her to give up smoking and she's willing to try vaping. She's tried the e cig but it wasn't for her

If she really wants to give up smoking vaping is not the answer, she's just changing habits. My wife vapes and she smokes her puffer everywhere and she puffs it more than she did with cigarettes. The only "good" thing about it is the smell is acceptable and quite pleasant. She found herself short of breath frequently and went to the doctors about it, after numerous tests the doc concluded it was the vape causing it. She gave up for around two weeks and felt much better. Needless to say due to a lack of willpower she's back on it and short of breath again. She has patches and gum and continues to attempt to stop, but willpower is the key to giving up.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!
