  • Making a Murderer discussion. **SPOILER ALERT** Don't look if you have not watched.

So what do we all think?
    Guilty or not guilty?
    Framed? Unlucky?

I honesty can not believe what the District Attorney got away with, basically destroying him before they even went to trial.
Guilty or not, there was no way Steven Avery was ever going to get a fair trial after that TV performance.

(taking up space so no one reads this in the forum and gets the first couple of lines [emoji106]&#127998

I'm pretty set on him being not guilty with that other guy who went away fishing with his friend being the murderer.

There's so many inconsistencies as well as so many issues like you mentioned such as calling him guilty on TV so the world was against him.

I also don't see how they could search a place 18 times and the one time they search it without the other district they all of a sudden find a key.

Not to mention the blatant fact that in the blood sample, that just because they didn't find the additive (through the test that all of a sudden can be accelerated to a fortnight but could never be done before) doesn't mean it wasn't there.

I'm also appalled at the Brendon fiasco, I thought that line about a book he read was his ticket out of there.

But it all goes to show, it doesn't matter, one determined juror can change the minds of the other 11.

There's a link that is really good about a plausible explanation and theory. I'll post it if I find it.

I agree completely with what you are saying Krist.
It was a total stitch up.

The poor girl was not murdered in either the trailer or garage. No DNA evidence whatsoever.
And as you pointed out, definite jury manipulation too.
I was expecting a story where we are meant to feel sorry for the accused, but I am just gobsmacked
at what the legal system has allowed to happen in this case.

Off to read your link now.

This got my blood boiling, both accused have an IQ of around 70 which in the UK they would have a learning disability but both (particularly Brandon) are not supported through this and are taken advantage of. The lack of evidence is shocking and the fact they buillied that poor kid into making a false confession is disgusting.
i found a really good theory on it the other day, I'll post it here if I come across it.

So do you have any suspicions as to who could have committed the murder?

If I was a betting man I would gamble on Scott Tadych, Steven Avery's brother in law.

I personally think it was Scott Tadych and Bobby Dassey. Have a read of this really good theory

Yes I read that one Alex. It does sound like it could be pretty accurate.
I just think that if Bobby Dassey was involved, then he would have spilled.
For me, he didn't have the slightest idea of anything. Unless he is actually quite clever that is.

Whilst I thought that Brendan was very clearly stitched up by the police and the DA, I have to admit that I did think Avery was guilty.

Just goes to show that everyone will see different things. The right man may well be in jail.
