  • Best way to sell some cigars?

Hi guys, I am new here so do not want to brake any rules. Can you please suggest or advise.
I have a few cigars (a few tens/10s), primarily form the new world, accrued by myself, presented or given to be in many different occasions.
Some I smoke and some I want to sell.
What would be the best way to sell them, most of them are not available in the UK.

Stay with us and keep posting because you can't sell until you reach PM status, see the rules

'You won't be able to private messages or post visitor messages until you have posted at least 100 times and have been an active member for some time (i.e. 3+ months). You must also have been active in the last 3-6 months to continue to have PMs or trading privileges. This is at the admin's discretion and isn't merely related to post count.'

I hope you're not just here to sell mate.... You'll get the bum's rush if you are!

Hang around, post often, make friends and after a few months you'll get selling status

To be fair, Golden Hands has only mentioned selling in three posts.

Thank you for your replies guys. Actually I did not consider this forum as a selling point.
I see it as a community of those who love cigars to the obsession and can't quit due to the addiction - well yes, that is me

I asked the question to know may be there are other ways to sell it somehow in a small quantities, online or open my own shop in the UK actually in Scotland?
Any one has this kinda experience?

Call me old fashioned, but I imagine an introduction of sorts would be helpful

A shop to sell a few 10s? A wallpaper pasteing table should do it, or don't they have Boot Sales in Scotland?
If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

An introduction would help as the guys have said ...spend some time and as your post count adds you will be able to ...

Time adds to integrity. Where in Scotland are you...I too am a scot

As you don't have PM other members can communicate with you. A few months and couple hundred posts show commitment imo

Then you can trade etc via forum. Best waiting then speaking to deano ...The site owner. That's is your post is asking about use of the forum ?

Golden Hands you are not reading the replies already made, you have been advised already on the rules. The need to stick around, rack up some posts & be apart of the community before you consider trying to sell. If selling is all you're interested in try fleabay, keep the sale time short & maybe you'll find buyers before it's withdrawn (as tobacco sales officially banned there). If you keep on posting in this vein you will attract some not so polite replies!
