I think targeting the people at the venue they did, and the passport thing..... all quite fishy...

Makes me so sad to see what we are capable of... Instead of protecting our world we pollute it and instead of looking after one another we kill...

And yet, we highlight the youth of today for being disengaged and out of touch with reality... Why would anybody want to be in it.

I know we are not instinctively programmed to think beyond our line of sight but I don't believe we are programmed to do harm.

                  A very sad day!

Makes me laugh, everyone is trying to justify what these animals do. In fact animals it the wrong term, animals kill to eat and survive - we humans are the only species that kills for pleasure, for that is all it is.

129 Frenchmen are killed by terrorists (a term the news and official mouth prices seem afraid to use), European outcry; one Arab terrorist killed while trying to attact civilians in Israel, outrage against Israel; 10's of thousands of Arabs murdered in Syria and iraq in what I can only describe a genocide and ethnic cleansing near silence and intransigence in the west. Systematic murder and ethnic cleansing of black Muslims by Arabs in Darfur, deafaning silence. Arab countries in the middle east quietly ethnically clensing themselves of their indigenous Christian communities, silence from liberal western governemts. We only have ourselves blame, by not taking a stand and letting millions of people into our homes who have a radically different set of values to ourselves and who do not appear value life. When will we stop trying to appease minorities for fear of offending them and look after the interests of our silent majority. Rant over.

The Islamic State group said in a statement it was behind Friday's attacks, news outlets report. French President Fran?ois Hollande said the attacks were planned abroad with local help.
They are everywhere spreading themselves and passing info back to Syria.

Just ref passports: It would be unusual for Brits to be found carrying their passports outside of an airport but in France & Belgium the law requires you to carry one & these days they are just a plastic credit card, kept in your wallet. So they may have carried them to lead a false trail but they could have been genuine & carried so if stopped before the attack, they could show them & if they weren't carrying one they could have been arrested.

I can see another war on the horizon if these things carry on , getting to look like a an eye for an eye tooth for a tooth.‪

Let's not let this thread of respect for those that died and suffered slip into a cut and paste job from news/twitter sites and the like please.

Eh. Dolphins have been known to gut punch porpoises and other smaller animals to kill for fun. Chimpanzees and baboons have been known to carry out full on wars where they kill each other for resources and territory.

But regardless, a political discussion is still best left to face to face. This online forum is perhaps not the best place to discuss these matters (as I've learned in the past!). Just leave it to the mourning as well as good jest as France and the rest of the world tries to move on - not from the situation, but along side the situation.
