Thanks again to everyone involved - cracking job!
Here's the latest update:
Thanks to the amazing charity we work with, we are so very, very close.
They have agreed to 8,000 of the final 10,500 needed - which is one hell of a thing.
They have asked that we raise the final ?2500 ourselves. The catch is, we need to raise it by 26th February, as we've just received an updated quote putting the price of the chair up by ?800, which was nice.

So as a result, I've set up a new JG page - I know you've all donated and for that I am thankful - What I would like, if at all possible, is if you could share the fundraising like as far and wide as possible on social media - Between the members here, there will be thousands of people to go at! And some of them may feel compelled to help in the home straight.

An elderly gent was looking worse for ware outside the pub. We were the only people outside and we saw from a distance he collapsed and rolled under a car.

Managing to get him out and bring him round, he then collapsed two more times in a very short time.

We looked after him untill the ambulance came and managed to dodge a particularly large vomit.

Turns out he was Michael 72 and he is ok now. He had been affected by a number of factors including: An un-diagnosed Urine infection, Low Blood pressure, Affected by going from a very warm pub out into the cold and he had peanuts stuck in his throat.

I think he has made a full recovery.
