While out today,I met some guys who said they are having a get together with Other cigar smokers and I'm welcome to join,as I've never done that before I decided to go,upon arrival I can honestly say I've never met so many fake People in my life,I thought people smoked cigars because they enjoy them..clearly this meet was more of who has the most money and more like Using cigars as a fashion statement,it was so funny to watch...one guy was smoking a cheap smoke and I thought he was a cool guy,until some other guy walked in,and he couldn't hide it quick enough,and instantly Pulled out some expensive cigar...the convo between everyone was so boring,where I come from people are real and say it like it is...Not pretend and act posh..I mean I like cigars too,but don't give a xxxx if its cheap,if I like it that's all I care ...If money turns people like the way it was today,then I'm so glad I'm common and real..surrounded by Common but honest lads...the funniest people watching experience ever...I left after 2 hrs too long...is there anywhere in Berkshire area where smokers get together and are themselves as I won't be doing that again...the worst first experience but so funny I've never laughed so much...I mean its About enjoyment not what you got..so thought I'd share my experience honestly and too the point....[emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] after all were all entitled to an opinion. This is mine.

One point I will make though, being about as working class as people get myself. Just because some people appear to talk straight and shoot from the hip does not automatically make them "Real".

I have met people from all walks of life who are great and also ones who are utter bellends. Sometimes taking the time to understand people and break through their self imposed social veneer is a worth wile experience as you can find something of worth underneath.

It is a real shame that it seemed it was more about the cost of the smoke than the experience and the company.

Did you bring this up with them?

Because IMO blasting people afte 2hrs of meeting them with the exception of a direct personal insult makes you neither Real or Honest, more Unaccepting and Intolerant.

I know what you mean, we can all relate to people we work with ....encounter where time and interaction display a different character .

social splender is always common on meeting people for the first time...so much so I don't judge people on it . The effect these people had on you must be greater than you had on them....as your still typing about it
