I'm still furious after that, what a way to lose a winnable/drawable match. Too many penalties at the breakdown and we turned the ref against us. Shocking second half, shocking.

Genuinely dont understand when someones week is spoiled by a poor result in league football, but I have to admit to being in quite a huff since last night! Particularly grumpy as it was lost due to poor play and that team can deliver so much more.... Gonna be one heck of a hill to climb from here but i wiil strain everything willing them on

It is strange. It's just a game... Yet you can't stop investing too much in it when it's a big one! Haha. You can always tell when Gloucester have played badly and lost (especially if it was at Kingsholm) the whole county goes into semi-mourning during the following week.

I know right, I have never had that feeling, ever... I'm not into team sports and appreciate that says a lot about me.. But last night Mrs P was far from impressed with my vocalisations...

Remember when we bowled the Aussies out for 60 in the Ashes... I'm trying to think of that rather than last night...

The coroners report will doubtless be out soon enough, I can only hope it comes to the same conclusions as I did. (All I will say is that the management directly responsible for the players will doubtless be appropriately addressed, however, the bigger problem, of nine years, will probably be overlooked... Just think about something - who's been in charge of 'elite rugby' at the RFU for nearly a decade of underperformance...)

Are any of the you other gents now routing for anyone else now that England are out?

My criteria is a northern hemisphere team... I'm thinking Ireland...!

No, I'll stick with my team who are still in the tournament.

Can't bring myself to support the Irish - I think it's partly due to their incessant cheating/cynical play, but mostly just to annoy my neighbour who's Irish... So easy to wind her up! Haha.

I'll probably be cheering for the Scots now - have some good friends who are Scottish (and not all of them are distilleries... ), plus it satisfies my traditionally English underdog supporting thing... Also captained by a Gloucester player. After they're out it'll be France or Australia. Shame Japan didn't make it through, as it would have been nice to support another cherry and whites team.

As a former back rower, i simply want to see NZ play and play and play. And lets be fair i want to see McCaw play and play. I would love to see a NZ vs Aus. Final. Pocock and McCaw going toe to toe....
