Congrats on the honey, it looks and I'd imagine it smells delicious. I really like the idea of keeping bees but it has never crossed my mind until reading this thread.
One question, I know honey is one of the only things that never goes off, but does age have an effect that you know of? That would be interesting.

im glad the post has been of interest , its my first year , im already planning hive no.2
raw honey will never go off , it may crystallise if kept in cool temps , putting in warm water will re liquefy , im told with age it may darken and lose flavour and aromaMAKE MINE A CUBAN

I read about archaolegists eating honey that was at least 2000 years old from a tomb in Egypt once.
