    Inspected the bee hive today , its my first year at keeping them

    Pleased to say i got honey in both supers

    Il leave the honey in the bottom super and brood chamber for the bees , itl get them thro the Winter

    The honey in the top super and wild comb will be removed next week , spun and filtered into jars , i guess around 20+ lb

                          Excellent to see wolfie. I love bees, the fact they produce such a delicious nectar for us to enjoy is quite a bonus.

                              Very envious too. Bees fascinate me. Would love to have the time to keep them. Had a colony move in to one of our chimneys last year, but it failed and they didn't come back this year (no bad thing really - not good having bees in a chimney). Managed to recover a piece of honeycomb - no honey - such a beautiful delicate piece of work.
