Nottingham and Uni

Hi guys,
Very pleased to tell you all that I finally finished my a-levels, I got BBB in Chemistry, Maths and Physics and I've got my first choice at Nottingham Uni to study Chemistry!! Can't believe I got in tbh, I thought I did crap in the exams but it appears not, haha
However the main thing that I've just found out is that there's a cigar shop on the high steet at Nottingham, Gauntley's I believe it's called. I can't wait to get started, and I can't wait to check out the shop either; I've got my priorities sorted...
Celebrated my results with a rather boring Hoyo Petit Robusto, I'll write a review up about that soon.
But anyway enjoy your weekend everyone!!

Used to love hanging out in Nottingham back in the day as it had a cool music scene and actually revisited it late last year when a band I was playing with played at Rock City which took me back.

Top effort squire.... From what i remember notts was always one of those unis with a reputation for having more female students than male...

Always enjoyed a trip over there for rugby, and a linger in the union! If i remember rightly some of the halls of residence werent too uncomfy either.....

With regards to the shop, it appears it has a great selection! I've had a streak of bad Cubans lately and it's starting to annoy, apart from Por Larranaga everything else seems to not be hitting the spot but every Non-Cuban I've had has had excellent construction with no draw issues so I'm looking forward to also seeing their non-Cuban selection, I'm thinking of trying some more Oliva's and maybe some Ashton's or Rocky Patel's

It generally always had a reputation of a 5:1 female to male ratio but not too sure how true this was or is.

Congratulations Matt! Very good uni - has a respected Geospatial Institute which almost lured me to the city when I was that way inclined... Good city, just don't forget the flak jacket...

Nothing quite beats having a proper cigar shop in the area - though it can lead to temptation where temptation may not otherwise have been lying in wait...
