Nice one, Peejay. My dad is looking for a wine cooler for his new place. I'll point him in their direction.

Is this for wine or boxes?

Just had a wee look and they are a very nice bit of kit.

Most definitely boxes, the wooden shelves are a big plus. I will only turn it on when the cabin gets overheated in the summer.

                            • No pictures today but I have installed a ring of sockets and a pair of lights off a garage consumer unit which will connect to the house by armoured cable. Talking of which I hate the bloody stuff. To expose the wires to connect to the consumer unit I had to shave off the outer nylon coating, then snip off all 26 of the steel braids then cut away the rubber sleeve. It took ages and the braiding is bloody sharp. The cable is so thick and strong that you can't get a 90 degree bend on and as for running it down the garden! It came on a drum so all 50 metres had to be unwound first but because of its strength it wants to stay wound up so it keeps looping and catching on every possible thing that can stick out in a hundred feet of garden. Just need to connect it to the house now then the cabin has power and lights.

                              • There is an art to making off armoured cable.
The way to deal with the armour strands is to ring the cable outer PVC and armour with a junior hacksaw
until you are approximately half way through the armour. Then remove the outer PVC with a knife.
The armour strands will come away easily now by wiggling them back and forth a few at a time.
If we lived close I could have popped over and done it for you PJ.
