Lots to do yet Sean. All the floorboards have to have a coat of preservative next before they're laid. Then the entire cabin has to have the same followed by two coats of colour and that's before the windows are glazed and I can start on the electrics.

Progress so far

Putting up the cabin last weekend was fun and relatively easy, what you don't realise is how much work you have to do after that. The whole thing has been painted with wood preserver this week but you can't see it. Today I got the first coat of paint on and the glass in so now it should be waterproof. Looking at the forecast I'll be finding out on Tuesday so the second coat of paint will have to wait. As you can see I did have a helper (?) today.

A rainy day

As it hasn't stopped raining today it was time to get on inside the cabin. First in was the cabling for the ring. What I hadn't figured on of course was the fact that because it was raining I would have to have all the floorboards inside with me restricting space and accessibility

Floor all done, just have to remove the gash board from the middle of the cabin and paint myself out with wood preserver. Tomorrow looks like another wet day so waiting inside.
