Fantastic John. Great progress. It looks like the weather might be in your favour over the weekend too.

(that has put the jinx on it now.)

Oh to have a nice flat lawn...my dream. I had such a hard time levelling my foundation for my shed, I ended up hitting a slate bed at one end and had to move the whole lot about 4 feet, it was a lot of hard work but well worth it in the end. It won't be long until you're having your first cigar in comfort indoors, it makes such a difference, I'm getting excited for you.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment as you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it!

Cheers Paulie but I was enjoying indoor cigars last winter as I have a small man cave in my garage but it only seats two. This is an extension for herfing with more friends.

Looks great Peejay, I do like the look of the hut....
As others have said, it would be worth a bit of insulation, and you don't need a lot to make a difference.
You could line it with batons and solid insulation, even an inch would be worth it (Jablite or polystyrene) and then faced ply over the top, or you could use thermal board (Plasterboard with insulation stuck on) this would also help it to not overheat so much in the summer and allows more variation of things to be store inside. I remember years ago when I lived in warmer location (south London) I had a shed which would be absolutely roasting in the summer....

                    Topping out

It's been a long hard day but its up and the basic roof is on. A tarpaulin will serve until I put the insulation and felt on tomorrow.
