Lol. Very good car. They're pretty darn cheap, too with the 5+YO evoras going for 15 000. If you find a willing enough insurance company, its great for people under 25 (when insurance rates are high as hell).
On that end, I still need a large capacity vehicle so any sportscar or anything short of a coupe is off the shelf for at least the next 2 years. Ah well.

I enjoy getting out on the bike as well, do you have any pictures of the MV? I love to see and hear them.

It is indeed an MV Agusta, Brutale 910. Not quite the triple that Ago used to ride but fairly nippy

Every little bit helps, I'm the same Bike stays under cover most of the time. I did in the past use it for everyday transport and then got two cars which relegated the bike to occasional use. Still love it [emoji106]

The last track day I went on reiterated to me how poor a passenger I am. Ive no trouble at those types of speeds when I'm driving but being a passenger scared the life out of me.

Hats off to you blokes who can and do cover the ground so rapidly to make a difference - impressive stats, rapid driving done well is impressive. when done by a numbskull its just scary!

I managed 170 in a straight line, on a track, in an XKR without the limiter which would have topped it out at c150/155. I am with Krist on the sense of calm/ stillness that comes with speed. I had that sense, right up until it started hissing it down with rain... serious stair rods stuff... as we approached a right hand hair pin bend! very nearly a change of boxers!

Just had a week driving in France where the speed limits seem to be largely adhered to - really quite refreshing to be forced to take it at an easy pace and enjoy the experience of driving steady and smooth.

Done in the right setting it's great fun, I would recommend any one to do some advanced instruction or even a track day. It's a great way to see how much you can push a car and see just where your limits are.

Probably the best thing an experienced driver can do is to re-read the Highway Code and see how much they remember, I speak to lots of Drivers who all seem to not know the speed limits or when to give way r how to join a motorway. I learn everyday, nice and smooth is the way to go.
