Hi Matt, why not pop along to the newbie thread and introduce yourself. Yes they're fake, probably stuffed full of sweepings and dried banana leafs. They don't sell authentic ones in perspex topped boxes mate.

Welcome bud, and yes: fakes. What a shame. I've been stung before with fakes. When I started out, my unfortunate purchase was a batch of fake Montecristo No.2s (5 for ?50). The bands weren't embossed. The cigars weren't identical in length. The foot of the cigars were roughly cut, and they varied slightly in thickness. We live and learn unfortunately. But just put it down to bad luck – and this experience will make you the wiser next time. This site is a great resource of information – so feel free to ask newbie questions buddy. All the best,

Glad you didn't say you were trying to sell them here Matt & tobacco products can't be sold on ebay either. As the others have said 100% Cohibas, never buy on the street or form someone who know's someone at the factory.
