The Ruin of the west pier is visible behind the construction. The scale of the project is impressive & the promenade is open right through the middle of it along the beach.

Watched another construction shroud get craned & bolted on today
the 17 tubes are there ready for assembly.

Very good, I was on something similar in Las Vegas and it had great views hopefully Brighton will have plenty of visitors wanting to give it a whirl.

Las Vegas has The Stratosphere with a rotating restaurant. Sitting down for dinner whilst watching people jumping off was memorable!

I tried the rides on the top a few years ago, when I went back last year I couldn't bring myself to do the drop!
