I play chess (not to a high standard) backgammon and like to visit a casino occasionally.

Got a road & offroad bike that haven't been used in too long. Also love swimming.

Cigars are a hobby to me & I consider working 2 days a week as a lockkeeper as a hobby too.

I spend a bit of time collecting and some light restoration on vintage razors and brushes, I have a motorbike which gets occasional use but most time goes on projects round the house.

Plenty of shooters on the board these days - maybe it's time to consider reviving the almost, but not quite, shooting herf idea from a fair few years ago? It's just about the only hobby I'm able to justify at the moment (competition clays in the spring and summer, game in the autumn and winter - though the latter's turned into more of a job).

Otherwise, cooking, wine and whisky. Though my online dating profile would suggest I have many more... Hahaha!

I used to do a lot of sailing, but unfortunately the skipper I raced with is working abroad for a few years, so that's on the back-burner at the moment.

              That sounds like a plan.

A shooting herf sound great though could easily become a seriously expensive day. Though with how long I've barely shot for if I pay per hit it could be a very cheap day.

I am also a shooting man - mainly driven but also enjoy walked up too.
A combo shooting and cigar day sounds like a nice prospect.

Other hobbies include fishing and golf.

I used to rough shoot. Ran out of local roughs. Seriously though, had four guns and access to a farm in Kent.

i shoot driven and walked up... Clays might be a better bet for herfing... more time to chat, smoke and enjoy.
less costly/ predictable on cost. although a day in the field is hard to resist!

i will start a separate thread for this in the herf meet section once i have this week out of the way... unless anyone gets the urge to do it before i get a chance.

former 'guns' who fancy their arm might be better included on a clay day... the right ground/ club will offer up a loan gun etc.

Fantastic to see so many shooters! I've got a few contacts Emaresee (I work in the industry) so I'll see if I can call in a favour or two over the next few days and drop you a message if there's anything which might be of use.

Now... en-route to London for one of my other hobbies, a day of wine-tasting with the good folk at Decanter.

I play rugby in a Saturday league, which is my main hobby really. I also home brew, only kits so far due to space limitations (did manage to brew my wedding favours, turned out well from a slightly modifief Brewferm kit). I also paint/model/play miniature wargames when I'm wearing my nerd hat and enjoy hill walking.

Some people are begging for a bit of land to shoot on, not easy these days getting permission
what made you give up shooting peejay.
