These are the items that I take every day for work, I do have other stuff but these are what goes everywhere for dealing with the day to do things. Other 'things' may need more specialist equipment[emoji12]

Reading glasses (only really for small print), torch, Leatherman Classic very reliable and handy, bunch of keys with a small knife disposable pen and a non expensive watch. All get used on an almost daily basis.

Less than 3" non locking blade without justification, or anything with a reasonable justification..... unless the chief constable has designated your area an area of high crime then nothing is legal if he deems it a weapon.

On the Knife matter you defence lays in the fact that any Knife you should realistically be carrying is predominantly a tool and you need it to do "X Job" unless your Scottish, Finnish or Sikh and it's there for cultural reasons.

I suppose that a silly question looking at your profile pic, but you know what they say about assumption

I was interested to see you wear a watch. I had a incident where a protester garbed me by my watch and pulled me into a crowd where he polity put a blade though my hand. Many of the guys I worked with stopped wearing watches. Take it you guys don't have such issues this side?

When on site I have the exact same with me, best tool I've ever had, a couple of the blades are chipped but I know they'll just send me one of the new style ones and I think I prefer my one.

My EDC consists of iPhone, wallet, headphones, and keys.

everything else is just on work days or certain days, those above are my staple!

Not so far but as we get information about these sort of tactics then changes are made to try and make sure we are safe. So far nothing about watches, but it may come.

Few interesting so far, as I travel everyday for work my car becomes my EDC. I actually carry a Tesco/for life bag in and out. Consists of notebook/day to day diary, several pens (one chunky solid one) usually a bottle of aftershave and Change of clothes. Bought a new car recently and promised it wouldn't be filled with shite like the last one..... Week later it's worse! On my person it's usually phone and adaptable charger in back pocket and lighter and money in pocket.

I feel you pain with the car, I always try to keep it tidy but end up with a couple of umbrellas an odd shoe and other rubbish not as bad as the Wife though hers is an outrage [emoji23]
