  • Smoking time

I rarely smoke more than one cigar in a day and it got me thinking. If you have, say an hour of free time for a smoke, do you choose a stick that's going to take an hour to smoke or would you smoke 2 half hour sticks ?

I'm not sure many people would choose two 30 minute smokes if they had an hour spare - you would have to move onto the second straight after the first, which isn't ideal - I would certainly always go for the longest smoke possible in the time available

I'd probably have a small stick and take my time

A nice leisurely Robusto for me!

          I would either
          a) have a robusto, which generally takes me an hour
          or
          b) have a toro/torp if I didn't have the robusto of what I wanted to smoke and just leave whatever I hadn't smoked after an hour.

Smaller stick like a PC or something hate not finishing a smoke

I'm in that predicament as we speak. Only issue is I've got no where to smoke

I think it depends on how I am feeling. Sometimes I would prefer to sip at a 30 minute stick, other times go for it a little more on a longer smoke. Also depends on what I actually have available, not a lot usually.

Personally I'd just stick to one cigar at a time.
So one smoke for that hour slot. You could squeeze two smalls in, but sometimes it's nice to let the cigar experience settle a while, and not get another one going (like a ciggie)

You're right, to savour the post-smoke flavour as it lingers on.

Pretty much what I thought, I'm definite in the "take your time and enjoy" category.
