Tobacciana at the Antiques Market Tongeren

Every Sunday my hometown Tongeren (the oldest town in Belgium) host one of the biggest and most renowned antiques markets in Europe. Tourists from all over the world visit. It is set around the medieval walls and tower.
Anyway... end of sales pitch

Lots of old tobacciana to be found, mainly pipes and cigar presses. But also ash trays, crystal or made from canon shells.

Excellent! I really enjoy having a look round things like that just to see some of the items for sale is great fun. I like the look of the press, I wonder if it will put to work or will be a display item?

I love Belgium and have never been to Tongeren, so this could be a great excuse for a trip in the future. I take it that the oldest town has a few old pubs..... to sweeten the deal with a little Gueuze
