The Abrams uses a licensed copy of the Rhinemetal from the Leopard, I'm not saying it isn't feasible but as far as I can tell it's never been confirmed in active warfare where the 5100m kill of the Challenger that PJ alluded to has... I will take a 1000m further kill confirmation and better fuel efficiency.... Seriously, the challenger may be slower in a straight line but it will keep chugging when the others give out for lack of fuel. It's also arguably the best at manoeuvring in the rough.
All good tanks though.... As is the South Korean K2.
