A sad thing that anyone feels this needs saying...... has any other nation's flag been vilified as our's has?
It is sad how our flag has been hijacked by a minority of vile racists as their symbol of elitism. The fact that many people who wish to show some patriotism even have a slight concern they could be associating themselves with this minority is terrible.
''My religion prescribed as an absolute sacred ritual smoking cigars and drinking alcohol before, after and if need be during all meals and the intervals between them.''
Remember flying the flag is about being nationalist not racist
I don't get the racist claim that raises it head with the flag - after all - Georgios (Saint George) was a Greek born in Syria Palaestina and not even English?

That's opening a whole other debate. He was of Greek genetics, born in Palestine while it is was under Roman control. So does that make him Greek? Palestinian? or Roman? Maybe just well travelled?
So, do your genetics or your location of birth determine "what you are?" Makes me wonder that a German Shepherd born in England really is?
