Always sad to see greats put in a performance like that. Should have retired him when he had the heart problem.

I have had pretty shitty luck so far. I'm lumping on Vauteur in the first race today, the outcome will see how I bet for the rest of the day.

I'm on Vauteur too..my biggest bet of the day..then smaller bets on Don Cossack in the 2:40 and going for the experience of Zarkander in the 3:20. If any of those win they will go into my cigar fund. Also placed my biggest bet of the week on silvicano conti in the gold cup tomorrow. Good luck today.

I was looking at Don Cossack but something just doesn't sit right with me. Balder Succes put in a great Grade 1 win last time out, and Taquin Du Sueil was great last year. Tough race to call.

Don't think I'll be betting on the World Hurdle, field is too big. I do like the look of Lieutenant Colnel though.

Road to Riches E/W for me in the Gold Cup. It's very hard race to call, lots of horses have G1 distance wins already this year.

Had a little e/w nibble on Rich Coast. I like Cheltenian as well. Very open race, can see a big price taking it.
