Ok my son the other week while on a vermin shoot decided to take a trinidad coloniales with him
to smoke at lunch time, quite a windy day it was too
from first third onwards the cigar started burning unevenly,no amount of touch ups corrected the burn of the cigar
don't think he'll bother again smoking on a windy day seeing that don't think i would either.

Yep shame waste of a good cigar , I take cigars fishing and ferreting and always take a real cheapy I've got left from when I first started so it doesn't matter much , but a fine purl deserves care and attention to savour it

My eldest son does a lot of beating , and he was at an estate shoot at Xmas and they were passing round very top end cigars to the guns and Ben said more than half ended up chucked due to wind rain and people not really into them anyway .

Toscano, Backwoods and Dutch cigars are for outdoors activities like fishing and camping. IMO
