Seriously the amount of ex-job here and no one knows this? Its a trike you can drive not a motorcycle. Thats what the restriction bracket at the end tells you, and that you need to wear glasses while driving. The first bike one says you can drive a moped with the restriction of having a valid CBT.

The DVLA have been known to randomly add/remove entitlements from licences in error when re-issueing or renewing them though. Happened to a mate who had his bike entitlement dropped in error about 15 (i think!) years ago, had an absolute nightmare getting it put back on too...

I think I used to be bunched in with your normal car category but since new people passing no longer get it they split it off into a bike one.

Yep I think there was a category for small three wheeled vehicles and was granted either with a full car, or full motorcycle licence (I can remember I had it on my motorcycle only licence and many people had it on their car only licence.) Can't remember the specifics though & it does look like some of the categories have been shaken up a bit?
