Nice one Bryan. Thanks for keeping us all amused and confused with your rants/lyrics/poems/diatribes....most of which are about putting some spank to that monkey
Well big guy that is some accomplishment ! Now for the award for 3000 posts? I've had a friend who wants to help U get rid of that brass pole. Sit Back and enjoy the ride,
In life, you come across obsessives from time to time.
It should come as no surprise that I am one of those very obsessives.
I feel no need to put my hands in the toilet and rub them furiously because I cannot walk to the bus stop without being overtaken by fear.
FORUMS BRING OUT MY CLOSET OBSESSIVE.
I find it simultaneously wonderful AND very funny (in the affectionate-funny way) that the love of a good cigar should pull us in together down through all the wires and computer chips, across the thousands of miles that separate us. That the love of a phat stinky mouth-Exocet should make us take trains and planes to be with each other to smoke several off.
I (in all honesty) find this cigar adoration thing a brilliant bit of being a bloke.
I love women. I love gss's women.
I'd have to start behaving myself if women Bolivar suckers - wonderful thought - started swelling the ranks.
Meanwhile, I believe in the curative power of Art.
I gift thee a song made up as the camera rolled. Brain into gear.
No pre-thought. Just auto-pilot to camera.
It's so-so, possums, but I want you to know there is a VERY special chord for each and every one of you in there.
Listen for her.
I am now enjoying some beautiful ground coffee with the puchy bastard Bolivar Royal Corona that I didn't get round to last night.
It's a sexual combination - and I dedicate my coupling, via Maya Angelou's big depth, to you all.
I'm going to try and write something 'proper' this Summer. I only ever go at writing half-heartedly because of a lack of self-confidence in the composition department.
I've traded some keys lessons with a good singer from these parts who needs some keys' knowledge for a course she is doing at Uni in Canterbury.
I know for sure that cigar smoking has strengthened my voice. I can tell.
Pavarotti was a devoted cigar chomper, so I see him as a role model for any singer who likes cigars.
I don't think cigarette smoking helps singers, though I might be wrong. I read in an interview once that Billy Joel took up cigarette smoking and was on 50 a day specifically to rasp up and strengthen his singing voice. I believe he bumped over to fine cigars to get off the cigarettes, but has now abandoned all toxic fuels.
A good cash-free arrangement - the singing/keyboards swap - which starts on the first day of my six weeks off on Thursday.
Robusto, very many congratulations for hitting 3000. I have been on this dear forum only a mere handful of days, and it is no easy thing to write what I'm thinking, putting it into some coherent form, without rambling. That's an achievement. And that song you posted is great. Really is.
