Crap film, but at one point they buy Hellboy some cigars.... In then plot they are rare Cubans... But in an interview Ron Perlman confirms that they are Joya de Nicaragua robusto deluxe, a cigar which he personally chose and also chooses to smoke in his own time.

Has anyone tried these? Ron Perlman is a big time stogie guy and isn't short on funds, so to choose a stick for regular consumption I'm guessing he rates them pretty high!

I have just remembered a scene where his boss tells him to stop using the lighter and change to matches

Spotted this myself when it was on lol! He has stated that he smokes them 'all wrong' inhaling fully into the lungs!

Hellboy II is many things, crap is not one of them.

The cigar scene is towards the end of Hellboy though.
