Some friends mentioned that as well but I'm still a little afraid of spoilers. I have been reading the books since the late 90's and would like to finish Game of Thrones in book form first. However, there is a science fiction series that I thought had potential.. and hasn't had a single mention so far (I checked that one too).. 'Dark Matter'
It's one for anyone old enough (and geeky enough) to have fond memories of 'Blake 7'.
