What are you watching (TV series edition)

I always believe I've spent too many hours of my life watching television series on Netflix, just think how decent I could be at an instrument like guitar had I put the hours constructively into that...

I've thoroughly enjoyed Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, True Detective. Suits and Orphan Black are reasonable but if you don't have much time you could probably give those a miss.
My favourite genre would definitely be comedy, Always sunny in Philadelphia and Trailer Park Boys are always winners in my eyes.

Next up I wonder whether to start Game of Thrones, much hyped obviously, and somehow I have managed to avoid spoilers. Alternatively I could try Twin Peaks, Sopranos or The Wire, as I have heard good things.

Sopranos is just brilliant, loads of great characters and totally compelling.

I have heard that it goes downhill in Season 2, I'm tempted to stop after the first.

None at all, quite right. Very entertaining, if nothing else. Only HBO could make a TV series with people snorting cocaine off strippers' bare bodies on a superyacht and not have anyone bat an eyelid.

I've recently been getting into '30 Rock'. I've become a bit of a fan of Tina Fey, and I have to say that I just love Alec Baldwin's character. Again, another TV programme which requires no use of the grey matter - a kick back and turn off half-our.

Watching age of ultron on my kindle fire tv stick...that I hacked and installed kodi. ...lovely

Been away offshore for 5 weeks so managed to get through a lot.

Banshee - excellent, best series I've seen in a while. Can't wait for series 4.

Long Way Round and Long Way Down - old but both good fun if you are interested in bikes or travel.

Resurrection - only had series 1, acting poor but really enjoyed the story. Will get series 2 when I'm home.

Penny Dreadfull - only watched 3 or 4 episodes, well made but not my cup of tea really.

Wayward pines - only a few episodes in, but so far so good.
