BMW i8

Just been for a drive in a BMW i8. From the outside it looks like a sports car from the inside a space ship. Went for a nice little drive down the motorway, boy its fast the garage guy says 300 and something bhp.
Now imagine my surprise when he tells me its a hybrid 1.5 3 cylinder engine and electric.

Just to clarify i am not buying one..lol. I went to the garage with a mate thats buying a M3, while he was sorting paperwork, I was looking at the i8, a very nice sales guy came over and asked if I would like a test drive .....like I was going to say no!

i think you would be right, but the people that can afford one most probably wouldn't really care about road tax costs

Yup pricey and sound like god burped but couldn't bring myself to pay that for one rather go down the e class amg range for cheaper

I was going to say that this is an incredibly cheap request. Especially if the gas fees are really that...
Then I realised it's 100 000 QUID not Canuckistani dollars.

Speaking of canuckistan, our gas prices are down to $85CAD per 100L of gas now. In some provinces, it's down to $70/100L.
