Thanks so much so far guys. We've covered the license payments, just ongoinghosting an re-licensing now. As I always said, we have a form of socialism here - the forums are owned by all of us, and even more so now that the financial aspect behind is in the process of being shared.

I'm implementing a gift system.

This will work like Facebook, where you buy credit to buy gifts and give them to people.

This, I think, will be better than just a 'donation'.

They'll be single cigar gifts, box gifts, special gifts, etc.

Everyone who has donated so far (and who ever does prior to the gift system going live) will get credited their amounts to give out gifts.

The award system will work in tandem with this, i.e. I will give out donation awards for people buying credit or donating.

FYI

For any July/Aug donations we can get I'm planning on buying the license for PhotoPost Pro/vBGallery Photo Gallery, which is $129 at the moment. (http://www.photopost.com/index.html)

This should make photo uploading a much better exercise, and make the forums a lot more photo orientated too.

It also comes with a plugin which will grab photos from your uploads to the site a lot easier. (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=202385)

This is the donation goal, anyway. With nearly 300 members (when we remove the banned bots), it should be doable over two months I reckon, and I will make up the difference.

Ok so people who donate will now automatically be assigned under the 'Special BOTL Member' user group and will have their tag updated automatically too....

Ok all people who have donated now have the same amount of credits for giving out gifts. If you donate in future I'll increase your gift credits, otherwise just use the gift system yourself to donate
