It reminds me a lot of a series of watercolours of Spanish women by a British artist whose name escapes me and Google. She has that same attractive sharpness of features that he always captured so well.

We have a tenuous local connection. There used to be a small artists supply shop in Wallington who had one of his pictures in the window and I discovered that the grandmother of the old lady who owned it was his muse.
